Lord, I Believe You Are There. I Believe
You are Here.
Gracious heavenly Father, I come before
You, asking for your help me? Will you heal me?
There is so much I do not understand about
pain and suffering . . . seeing
with eyes of faith through the dim glass of uncertainty and fear. Somehow,
through my illness, my heart turns toward You, believing that You are
there,
and You are not silent . . . that you speak and answer with compassion
and care.
Grant me grace for the healing of my mind,
body, and spirit: touch my thoughts
with faith, hope and love; restore to health this ailing body; heal my
damaged emotions; and transform my wayward heart so that I might not only
find relief from pain and disease but an inward experience of grace to
discover You again, finding a new sense of meaning and purpose for my
life.
I offer You this prayer. I offer You my
life through Jesus Christ. Thank You. Amen.
