Savannah
- Georgia Southern University is approximately one hour from downtown Savannah.
- From I-16 West, take the first exit for Statesboro, (EXIT #127-Hwy. 67 N.). After exiting, take a right towards Statesboro (about 12 miles) off of the exit.
- Cross Hwy 301 Bypass (Veterans Memorial Parkway) and continue straight on Hwy 67, which will change into Fair Road.
- After about one mile, you will see the campus on your left. At the fourth traffic light after the Bypass (after crossing the Bypass) take a left onto Herty Drive. (You will see Georgia Southern University’s Hanner Fieldhouse directly to your left at the traffic light).
- Go straight on Herty Drive, until you come to the 3 – way stop sign (Southern Drive). Take a right at the stop sign onto Southern Drive (this is Sweetheart Circle).
- Go around Sweetheart Circle and when you come to the split, veer towards your right.
- Directly after veering towards your right you will see the Georgia Southern University Welcome Center on your right. Here you can get information about the campus and obtain a visitor’s parking permit.

- TO PARK: take a right out of the Welcome Center. At the 3 – way stop just ahead, take a left and proceed into the parking lot. If you have a visitor’s permit you may park in any open space.
- Graduate Studies and Research is located in building # 0211, on the Pedestrium.

Macon/Atlanta
- Georgia Southern University is approximately two hours from downtown Macon and three and a half hours from downtown Atlanta.
- Take I-75 South to I-16 (from Atlanta, take I-75 the entire way to Macon, do not use the I-475 bypass of Macon, it will take you beyond I-16)
- Take the I-16 exit to Savannah.
- Exit off of I-16 onto the first Statesboro exit (EXIT 116, there will be signs for Georgia Southern University)
- Take a left off of the exit (Hwy. 301 South) towards Statesboro (about 13 miles).
- Cross Hwy 301 Bypass (Veterans Memorial Parkway) and continue straight.
- After about a mile, you will begin to see the campus on your right.
- Farther down on your right (across from the Pizza Inn on your left) you will see a campus entrance, take a right here (Southern Drive).
- Once on Southern Drive, you will need to veer towards your right (onto Southern Drive/Sweetheart Circle).
- After veering right, you will come to a split in the road, you need to veer right here also.
- Immediately on your right is the Georgia Southern University Welcome Center. Here you can pick up information about the campus and you can obtain a visitor’s parking permit.

- TO PARK: take a right out of the Welcome Center. At the 3 – way stop just ahead, take a left and proceed into the parking lot. If you have a visitor’s permit you may park in any open space.
- Graduate Studies and Research is located in building # 0211, on the Pedestrium.

Augusta
- Take Hwy 25 South towards Waynesboro
- Continue on Hwy 25 South, this will take you through Waynesboro and Millen
- When you come to a full stop, where 25 South ends and veers right and Hwy 80 starts, take a left onto Hwy 80
- Continue on Hwy 80 until you reach Hwy 301 (Veterans Memorial Parkway), turn right onto 301.
- Continue on 301 (Veterans Memorial Hwy) until you reach the main red light where 301 Bypass and 301 meets, take a left onto Hwy 301. (There will be a Texaco/Subway on your right and a Flash Foods store across the intersection on your left).
- Continue on 301, you will begin to see the campus about 1 mile on your right.
- Farther down on your right (across from Pizza Inn on your left) you will see a campus entrance, take a right here (Southern Drive).
- Once on Southern Drive, you will need to veer towards your right (onto Southern Drive/Sweetheart Circle).
- After veering right, you will come to a split in the road, you need to veer right here also.
